Peters Lawn Service was established in 1985 by Bill Peters, and is currently family owned and operated by Brady and Kelly Peters of Mankato, MN. For over 20 years, Peters Lawn Service has made a commitment to providing quality customer service and using the highest quality products available. We take great pride in getting the job done right. Peters Lawn Service provides service to Mankato, North Mankato, Nicollet, St. Peter, Lake Washington, Lake Jefferson, Madison Lake, Eagle Lake, and St. Clair.
  

Our Story

It all started for us when Land o’ Lakes, the company where my father worked, moved to a new location in the twin cities area. While seeking new employment and working a couple of jobs, he decided to put his farming background to work and started Peters Lawn Service in 1985. With a simple truck and trailer he began to find jobs and built his reputation as a friendly and reliable lawn service provider. As a young boy helping pull the hose on the weekends I would learn the most valuable lesson of my life – a work ethic.

In 1991, my father gave me an opportunity to start a lawn mowing business. I was only 15 years old then, and I would save all of my money to buy a truck and drive myself around the next summer.

As I grew older, I developed a strong commitment to “get the job done”. I am proud to say that I am still working on most of those same jobs today. In 2005 my wife and I purchased my fathers side of the business and we started a family (we now have two beautiful young girls). It has proven to be very difficult juggling all of the responsibilities but, through the help of our family, our most dedicated employee Adam Weingartz, and all of our seasonal help, we have worked hard to maintain our commitment.

We hope that the launch of our website in January 2008 will help us stay in touch with our valued loyal customers as well as provide information on our services.
